Once you’ve got your supplies sorted, keep these rules in mind to make park visits pleasant for everyone. Dogs must stay leashed in all public areas except designated off-leash zones. All dogs require a current City of Burnaby licence, with tags displayed on their collar at all times. Annual licences are due by December 31st, though you’ll save $10 if you renew before the end of February.

While in off-leash areas, dogs must remain within sight and under voice control. Clean up after your pet and be mindful that aggressive dogs are not permitted.
